Call for Submissions - New Book for Sunday Program
It is time for us to begin the selection of a new book for the once monthly program at AZG. We invite the community to suggest books they would be interested in reading together. Characteristics of a book that works well for the Sunday program:
Content that will hold the interest of a wide variety of practitioners
Short chapters, or chapters with short sections
Contemporary topics in Buddhism and Zen
Content that will inspire reflection and dialog
Examples of books that have worked well in the past:
Inside the Grass Hut – Ben Connelly
The Truth of This Life – Katherine Thanas
Examples of books being considered:
Seeing One Thing Through – Mel Weisman
Subtle Sound – Maurine Stuart
Welcoming the Unwelcome – Pema Chodron
When You Greet Me I Bow – Norman Fischer
What else would you like Practice Committee and the Sunday Facilitators to consider? Please email your suggestions to info@arcatazengroup.org
