Community Request - Host Families for Buddhist Exchange Students

AFS US Intercultural Programs are currently looking for host families for Buddhist high school students who will be spending a year in the U.S. as part of an intercultural exchange program. Finding a Buddhist host family or a family with a connection to a local Buddhist community could help them feel more at home and supported during their exchange experience. Hosting an exchange student is an opportunity for families to provide a young student with a life-changing opportunity, and build lifelong international friendships along the way.

The best contact to learn more is their local volunteer, Abby Munro-Proulx. She can  be reached at abbymunroproulx@gmail.com or 707-616-3825.

General information can also be found at https://www.afsusa.org/host-family/
